Yearly Events

Bible Classes

The 7th-12th grade youth meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and at 7:00 PM Wednesday. There are classes for all other ages as well.

Youth Devotionals

The youth have devotionals planned for their classes: K-2nd, 3rd-6th, and 7th-12th grade. The 7th-12th grade devotional is called Teen Life Talk and is on the fourth Sunday night of each month.

Sunday Night Out

Is listed as SNO and is a fun activity for all 7th-12th grade youth. It is always the first Sunday Night of each month.

Family Circles

On the third Sunday of each month the church meets in Family Circles groups. There are 6 groups. One of the groups always meets at the church building. These are times of fun, food, and fellowship.

Parents Night Out

On the second Friday from September to May. Two couples volunteer to host the baby sitting night for all the parents of young children in the church. Parents are welcome to sign their children up to be cared for on these nights.

Pizza and Singing

This activity is used as part of the requirements to attend the LTC Convention. On the third Sunday of each month the youth get together for Pizza and then singing at the East Moore Nursing Home.

Special Events

Our youth are involved in numerous special events that include: an Annual Youth Rally (the fourth Saturday in January); the LTC Convention (on Easter weekend); Vacation Bible School (the first full week in June); Camp Rock Creek (begins Father's Day); Day Camp (the week following Camp); a VBS Mission trip (the first Saturday in August); a Young at Heart Banquet honoring senior members (fourth Sunday in October); Teen Caroling (the Tuesday before the 25th); and baby sitting to help holiday shoppers known as Holiday Helpers (the first Saturday in December).
